Dye-ing of hair
27th May 2007
Mummy said she wanted to help me dye my hair but it was 11pm and she was so reluctant to do so. Butshe helped me anyway. Despite the fact that I cried because she pulled my hair real hard claiming all my hair was entangled, I like the colour.
It looks more of Copper brown, although it states Light brown. Colour credits to Revlon Colorsilk.

THE NEXT DAY.......
Vivo-ed with Isabel!
Who will ever believe this is the first time I'm going out with this dear friend alone just to shop out of our 5-years-friendship? At least not me!
We decided to meet in the bus and then bus-ed down to Vivo City. And the first place we went to in Vivo City was the toilet. :D
First floor's didn't have lighting so we went to the second floor's instead.
Went to Vochy for we had an appointment at 12pm for a fingernail and elbow mask try.
Next was Topshop! We held on to the clothings we fancied and rushed to the fitting room. And of course, we went into the SAME fitting room. [Of course lah, if not how to take pictures together? - Don't mind the seriously broken English]
 
 
 
 
 
We then headed down to Pull and Bear to, once again, try on clothings.
& I so love the lighting that shines dimly on the back-background fitting room.

I don't know what on earth was she doing, but they sure are big eh? Hoho.
We went back to the toilet to touch up our make up, met Charmaine and her boyfriend and had lunch at Food Republic. We had quite hard time deciding where to eat because Isabel got her own lunch budget, like around $5.
Oh, and Charmaine's boyfriend looks nicer than in pictures.
I was too full to even think of trying any more clothings, because the both of us tried for the sake of taking pictures, and not for the sake of buying. But my thinking changed when I saw M)phosis's sign:
50-70% STOREWIDE SALE.
We rushed in to browse through the fabulous deals. Their clothings were nice, but most only come in translucent white. This time we weren't allowed to share a fitting room. And of course that didn't stop us from taking our indivdual photos. :D
 
 
 
So for all the trying that I did, I only bought the black racerback [picture shown above] and Isabel bought the polkadot spaghetti strap which I tried on [picture of shirt shown above too].

I'm finally back from camp yesterday and was too tired to update on it. So after a good night's sleep, I'm ready to blog! (I sure miss blogging, really)
Everyone going for the Sec 2 camp were to assemble in school's (WSSS) parade square and grouping was announced. I had lovely Sri with me! :D Groups 1-5 were known as Acha (Group A), groups 6-10 were known as Baba (Group B) and groups 11-15 were known as Chacha (Group C).
I don't know what I'm doing with my small bag. Looking dumb.
Waiting for the bus to send us to Marina don't-know-where South Pier for ferry.
D: I wasn't ready when Instructor Yien took this photo. Wonder who he is? Read on. :D
And so we took a bus and reached don't-know-where Marina South Pier. We were assigned to our groups by then and had to think of our group's name and draw out for a flag decoration. I'm in group 9, Sri's in group 9, because we are index number 9. :DDD
Instructor Yien based on NC-16 show called <<300>> where warriors are called Spartans, and so we are named Spartan; Ancient greece for "soldiers".
Completed the drawing in the ferry.
Reached St John Island, had lunch, played Amusing Race and showered.
One of the task in Amusing Race was that we had to send 3 members out and act 3 cartoon characters. We then had to draw on Instructor Yien's face.
THIS is Instructor Yien: (I told you to read on, so now you have it) :D
Shower! I so want to talk about this.
The toilet will flood, there is no door and only a curtain, the divider of the bath space is only up to my nose level and there's only 5 space for 5 people to shower at one time!
I said to my friend, it's lucky Cai Yun did not go for the camp or else she will be able to see everyone during shower and everyone will be able to see her up to her breasts! :x
And I was one unlucky one. I was applying shower gel on my body when this DAMN big and black beetle crawled towards me. I screamed for Yan Ting and asked her to see and she screamed too. She asked me to cover myself with my towel and come out. And for goodness, I had yet to wash away the shower gel on my body!
So my towel was filled with shower gel. D: I continued my shower in another bath space. DDD:
Anyway, there was supposed to be a night walk. But Baba group did the candle war instead while Acha and Chacha did the night walk.

THE NEXT DAY.......
Second day was funnnnnnnnnn. We had Telematch, Gladiator, campfire preparation and campfire. So many things to do, so little time. I LOOOOOOOVE TELEMATCH! I thought -and still think- it was the funnest activity throughout the whole 3D2N! What this game is about:
I don't know what tele-match means. But we have to accomplish a number of tasks in order to finish the game.
First was the Elephant Turn. Everyone had to turn around a pole 10 times until each group had turned 17 times. Example:
Shilong turning.
I was the first one in Spartan to turn. :D Then I cheered for my group members all the way.
Cheered until I didn't look at the camera when Instructor Yien was cheering. D: Nevermind. [:
After completing the 17 turns, the next task was to eat the apple from the pail filled with water until only the "bone" left without the use of hands. Only solution? The mouth.
Only Sri managed to bite the apple and take it out from the pail.
But she passed the apple to Shahira's mouth so the other side of the apple could be eaten.
I ate quite a lot of mouthfuls. I was thirsty. :D
Then we had to pour the water from the pail out and fill it up with water again. We had to use our hair to to collect water and fill a small plastic cup. I didn't manage to get water to my hair, so I helped to squeeze water out from Spartan members' hair instead.
Next was the passing of a rubberband through straws.
We dropped the rubberband once and this photo (above) was the second attempt of restart.
After this, somebody had to blow a balloon until it bursts. Sri blew and Instructor Yien continued. But he cheated and use a straw to poke. Hoho.
The final task was Caterpillar Walk where he had to put our legs on the lap of the person in front without disconnecting.
Shangwei still had his straw in his mouth. *Laughs*
The turn was the hardest in Caterpillar Race. THE END OF TELEMATCH. & I had so much fun, so did the rest!
The next game was Gladiator where we had to water-bomb other groups' "lollipop".
Some stupid person threw the waterbomb on my forehead and the game paused for a while. I believe it was accidental so I didn't pursue it.
There was supposed to be 3 rounds but when the 2nd round started, it rained and we couldn't continue. Heck.
In case you're wondering what "lollipop" I'm talking about...
It's the thing I'm holding on to.
The rain stopped after a while and next was rafting! I know my "good friend" came but I still played anyway. :D I mean, Baba group is the first group to raft because the sea was on high tide! As told by my friend not in Baba group, they only played "Simon says" in the water because the sea was low tide and they couldn't raft.
So since I'm one of the lucky one who managed to raft, I ought to experience it!
Each group had 10 minutes to raft to one place in the sea to collect salt from a spoon given and fill in a plastic cup on land. The group who had the most salt in the cup wins.
This is what we called the Superman position. :D

Headed for a shower immediately after this. Finally was campfire. No pictures, but was nervous.
Spartan's campfire performance was not good. All were scared including the boys, as said by Shangwei. We failed to shout out the first time and plucked up our courage and managed to shout. Spartan rocks no matter what!
Instructors were then given the microphone to say a few words to their own teams. Saaaad. ]:

THE NEXT DAY.......
Cleaning up time. Spartan had to clean dorm 12 by taking out the bedsheets and everything. Instructor Yien asked Instructor CK to help take our group photo.
And if you're wondering who Instructor CK is.....
Cute and has a nice voice. [:
We had to assemble back to our own classes. YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY! I started to get high, really high until Instructor Yien said, "Just now ask you to take photo you don't want, now with your classmates then you want." :D
Because when I was still with Spartan, he asked me to take a picture with Yunyi and this is how I smiled:

Oh and after this photo, Isabel came to my place and Instructor Yien wanted to take a photo of us, so...
I kissed her hair. -.-ll
Ain, Fira, Isabel and I took a photo with Instructor Wenjie, Ahzri (spelling error) and Jeremy. Hyper Wenjie whose favourite saying is "Or else I call my mama!", funny Ahzri whose favourite song is "To the right, to the right!" and cute Jeremy who likes to ask people to clap for nothing. :D

Then while waiting for the jetty, music was played and one song was "对面的女孩看过来". Isabel, Waiying and me faced Jeremy, Wenjie and don't-know-who and vice versa. All six of us were the only ones standing with classes 2B and 2C in between and we all danced. Lovely!
 
We had our final photos as a class 2B with Instructor Wenjie.
And we headed back to don't-know-where, then took a bus to school and got report book. I'm not happy with my results, but I improved on every subject except English, Science and Geography D: but that made me happier.
I tried to take a picture of my result slips of Term 1 and Term 2 but it appeared blur. I shall just type it out.
Term 1 English: 84% A1
Term 2 English: 63.3% B4
= English deproved. ]:

Off to St John Island tomorrow!
Yes, school camp from tommorow to this friday to at St. John Island and I'm praying so hard my period will only come this friday, or best don't come at all this month - although I know this will mean I'm unhealthy -.
It's 1.08pm now and I've yet to pack a single thing for my camp except for 1 t-shirt. D:!
I don't know where to put my shower gel, don't know which bagpack to fill my stuffs in...
I DON'T KNOW ANYTHING.
I must say this is the first time I've yet to fill my bag the day before a camp or a trip. This shows how disorganised and unprepared I've become. ]:
But lucky me, evening is still hours later and I've got a whole lot of time - at least a whole afternoon and evening - to pack my stuffs. Pictures later when I'm doe packing.
I WONDER...
How many pads of what sizes should I bring? (I know this is not small enough, but it's the smallest I could go X:) Hoho. XXX:

I want my belly pierced..
Due to my curiosity about how painful belly piercing really is and how it's being pierced, I went Youtube to find videos on it.
This is one example:

And according to every video of belly piercing, it's said that it doesn't hurt as much as how my friends had described.
So now I am really considering getting my belly pierced; Lovely!
Especially when the girl in this video above has her ring colour in diamond pink; I'm even more tempted to get mine done!
The only problem is WHERE. Any recommendation? Sigh.
About tattoo, I think I've decided not to get any. Like what Fiona said, it will fade over the years, and it will be DARN painful if you wish to get the tattoo out. I mean, one won't like a design forever, will one?
I will draw my own tattoo, or at least get a friend to help draw. :D
Fiona's hilarious. This is what she said, "Ya, I once thought of getting a tattoo but it's permanent, so nevermind. Rather draw myself then when wash already, Yay no more!"

Kaiwen, Fiona, Sri and I were talking about going out in the MP4 room while searching for scores. I ended up talking so much about Vivo, while they talked about Far East instead. So they concluded I am the Vivo girl while they are the Far East girls.
Hey! I talked about Vivo simply because I was - and still am - overwhelmed by the upcoming sales Vivo city will be having okay!
But yes, do meet up! First week of June holidays right? :D
Mommy says Topshop is having 50% sales for most clothings in many outlets! :DDDDDDDD

23rd-25th May will be Secondary Two school camp, and we will be heading to St. John Island through a ferry. Ghost encounter about the beachball and the sweets freaked me out a little, but I'm still keen on going. I LOVE to explore places.
Except.............. The worst of the worst may come to me, and probably for other LADIES as well. DDD:
I think you people know what I mean by now. Yes, menstruation - or period, to make it sound nicer -. DDDD:!
I love to try things I've never tried before, and rafting's one of them. But rafting involves water, and the stupid thing about menstruation is that it gets bloody uncomfortable once it touches water.
Those of you who are disgusted by my open use of vocabulary and direct word, I'm sorry, but c'mon; grow up!
I'm really hesitating about whether I should go. Freaking menstruation hopefully won't dampen my mood. I don't want something I don't like to make me despondent!
Okay, enough about THAT.

Joycelyn's sleepover!
My family has left me alone for cruise because it's my brother's wish to celebrate his birthday in cruise, and so they left. I didn't feel like going.
I asked a casual question to Joycelyn my sweetheart if she could spend the friday night with me. I received a SMS from her when I got home, and she said she'll be spending the night with me. She even asked if she could spend the saturday night with me too! But I felt I needed to be alone for one night.
Both of us went to the swimming pool soon after sweetheart arrived.
I realised sweetheart isn't a cam-whore at all, and this explains why this post has lesser pictures than expected.
 
 
We spent over an hour slacking there with our legs soaked in the clear pool water. I was still worried we'd only be there for a few minutes in desperate thoughts of what to talk about. But it turned out really smooth. :D
Sweetheart wasn't interested in the local 9pm show "幸福双人床" on Channel 8, and so she killed time by playing my keyboard. D:
We then surfed the net till around 2am, when during the process sweetheart caught me in-the-merge-of-sleeping countless times. But both of us felt awake again after we washed our face.

THE NEXT DAY.....
Both of us headed to West Mall's KFC for breakfast. Earlier on was funny.
I told Sweetheart that West Mall is nearer from my place than Bukit Panjang Plaza - at least I think so - and that was why we went to West Mall. When we reached WM, we couldn't find McDonald's both through mall view and directory guide. So we headed to Delifrance instead but I dreaded because I didn't want to spend too much just on breakfast alone. Sweetheart suddenly recalled the location of McDonald's, and I recalled later on too. I was like, "Oh ya! That's why I thought I'm always at West Mall to eat McDonald's, then suddenly gone." :DDD But we were 13 minutes late for the breakfast set so Sweetheart decided to head back to West Mall for KFC.
Both of us ordered the same thing - except for the drink -; She ordered first. We ordered Meltz set with cheese fries trade-up, and I had my drink changed to Mountain Dew.

It's really pizza-like with tender chicken, generous cheese, a lil' spice, tasty tobacco and yummy tomato slices! I'm hungry again......... :DDD If you have yet to try it, get your hands on it!
We headed to The Face Shop where I bought 2 masks, then to This Fashion because Sweetheart's hands were itchy to buy something. Whereas me, I was left with a few cents after having bought the masks - I even had to borrow $10 from Sweetheart - and I'm not into non-branded stuffs. DDDDDDD:
I tried on the puffed shirt pullovered with a grey pinafore in the fitting room! Sweetheart tried on what she liked in sight.
But Sweetheart saw another shirt she liked and dumped the other one. I tried it on when we reached my place. :DDD
Enjoyed my time with you, girl. :D

Examinations are over!
I miss posting, I really did for the past few days. Got back English and Chinese results.
English - 17/30 for newspaper report
Chinese - 48/80 for Chinese paper.
D: I am at the brim of disappointment regarding my English, although I fully well know I did not write enough to get 20/30 and above. I've depproved. DDD:
Anyway, Maths wasn't any better. Although Maths was tested today, Mr Marcus went through the answers. I counted and all I counted was 25/40. DDDDDDD:! SIGH. All the graph's fault.

And lastly of Hillbrooks, the best picture of whatever I've taken!
Taking all these pictures made me realise how many trees Hillbrooks has planted, and how it's a nice place but inconvenient - in a way - and small for a family of 4 adults to live in. Sigh. I was with my brother when I took all these photos. There was another sad-outcome viewing. Oh well...
I've been looking for a velvet-feel camisole for quite some time and I found it at Tanglin last Saturday!
In fact, I found gray - which I prefer better - and a black one! Both from Ebase. Only captured crappy pictures of me wearing the gray camisole.
Queued for Adam Road's Selera Rasa Nasi Lemak last Saturday after Tanglin Mall with family. For the first time in my life I've queued a full 1/2 hour four the urge to try the food. It has many awards and outnumbers the other stalls by having so many people queuing for the nasi lemak. But...
Rating: 7.9/10
Somthing's still missing to qualify 8. Chicken's skin a lil' too hard and oily, like the rice because it's nasi briyani's with coconut and ikan bilis was okay. Otah sold out when my main point of queuing is for the otah. D:
But anyway, that moment of queuing made me discover smething else about me. I WILL queue for good food although the queue may be long. Duh, the stall won't have a long queue if the food is oh-so-common.
So people, DO RECOMMEND ME food you think deserves like 1/2 hour wait. I will appreciate you and your recommendation very much. :D

Hello people. I've decided to try Livejournal out because I am sick of Blogger. Because I am always so particular about how my posts and blog looks like, Blogger always gives me wrong spacings.
